Pressure

​Created in 2012 while working with the Mas Rudas Collective this series, Pressure, addresses feelings of tension and weight felt while considering a life as an artist. The intentional use of lightweight, unconventional materials points towards irreverence and amusement. These self-portraits stir feelings of discomfort as I struggle to hold up and investigate a seemingly heavy and unfamiliar object.
